Why I do what I do
Ever since I can remember I have been fascinated by close-up magic and stage illusion so the study of hypnosis was, for me, a natural development of these interests.
Whilst working for the NHS I began to study the use of hypnosis for medical procedures and its effectiveness when helping with health issues such as anxiety, low mood, smoking cessation and weight control and as a result of this interest I decided to train as a clinical hypnotherapist.
After qualifying in 2004 I joined The Bristol Natural Health Service where, as well as seeing clients, I now also lecture for students and supervise other hypnotherapists and it is a joy to be able to work alongside such friendly and caring colleagues within the relaxed surroundings of the clinic.
Over the years I have seen many clients for a wide range of issues and it is always a privilege to be involved in the process of showing people how to open up their imagination in order to experience creative wonder, gain understanding and move forward in their life.
