health kinesiology

What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a gentle but powerful healing system, as yet undiscovered by many. It is based on ancient Chinese Theory, and works with the body's energy system, a grid discovered by acupuncturists thousands of years ago.
Kinesiology uses touch rather than needles. In addition, it combines discoveries made in the West during the last 100 years, together with the technique of muscle testing. Gentle muscle testing establishes where attention is needed to restore well-being.

Health Kinesiology (HK)
Health Kinesiology (HK) is an advanced branch of kinesiology, established by Dr. Jimmy Scott in 1981.
Light muscle testing on the lower arm enables the practitioner to work out an individually-tailored treatment program, to either address specific heath problems, or to improve certain skills. You do not need to fully understand why you have a problem as the system accesses other-than-conscious information.

What is Health Kinesiology / HK good for?
HK can address concerns at the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels of the person. It is helpful in:
  • Overcoming chronic health problems, such as allergies, digestive problems, skin complaints, phobias and anxiety (see list below).
  • Improving skills in areas such as memory, thinking, sport & playing an instrument.
  • Finding out your body's individual needs - eg the diet that best suits you or the optimum way to exercise.
  • And lastly it can help you achieve your true potential, and become the person you are meant to be.

Some of the conditions that can be treated by Health Kinesiology include:
  • allergies, eczema, acne, rashes
  • asthma, bronchitis, sore throats
  • hay fever, rhinitis, frequent colds
  • eye problems, gum problems
  • irritable bowel, diarrhoea
  • vertigo, migraines, headaches
  • ME, arthritis
  • backache niggling injuries
  • hormonal problems, PMS
  • menopausal problems, tiredness
  • hyperactivity, depression
  • anxiety, lack of confidence
  • poor motivation, stress, grief
  • panic attacks, phobias
