Covid 19 Safety Guidelines
To keep you safe:
• If you have symptoms related to COVID-19 (high temperature, new continuous cough, loss of smell or taste) you should not attend your appointment. • Whilst the restrictions have been lifted in England, cases are still high. To protect our staff and clients we therefore kindly ask that you continue to wear a face covering when entering the clinic to see your therapist and respect social distancing. We are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe. On entering the clinic: • You will be asked to sanitize or wash your hands. • No waiting facilities or drinks are available. • To minimize the chances of proximity to others in the reception area, you should arrive at the time your appointment starts, not before. • The room will have been properly vented before you arrive and you will be led by your therapist straight through to the treatment / therapy room. • We regularly and thoroughly clean all touch-points, between appointments, with an anti-viral decontaminant. • You will notice lots of other hygiene precautions that we are taking – none of these should diminish your experience. • If you have been used to having a blanket over you please bring something that will keep you warm or protect your modesty. • Please do not bring friends or family for your appointment unless a chaperone / parent or carer is essential. • Most therapists will accept and encourage bank transfer payment. BNHS supports the vaccine roll out & frequent testing but we do not believe in excluding people who for a variety of reasons may not have engaged in either. During your visit to BNHS you are unlikely to come within 2 metres of another client. In fact, we aim to eliminate cross-over in the meeting/passing common points of the clinic altogether but cannot guarantee that. Anyone you meet should be wearing PPE/a face covering, have a temperature within the normal range & have sanitised immediately on entering the building. Strict infection control measures are in place with frequent (& when the weather permits) constant ventilation in all but but one treatment room. All rooms touch points are sanitised between appointments. If you are concerned & want to know more details or to know details about your therapists vaccine status, you should ask them in plenty of time before your appointment. |
