About Emmett Muscle Management Technique
This is a low force soft tissue technique developed by Australian Ross Emmett. It is designed to improve the joint range of movement and clear muscular pain. The moves are based on high degrees of precision. This therapy can be used alone or mixed with other therapeutic modes. A trained Emmett therapist uses very specific points on the body to achieve these results. Symptom changes are usually experienced during the treatment session by the client. The whole body can be treated or just areas where symptoms are present.
Emmett Lymphatic Drainage Massage
This is a low force, non muscular massage that focuses specifically on the lymphatic system. Our lymphatic system is an extension of our blood circulation system but it does not have its own pump like the heart. As elements of the lymphatics can be found throughout the body, it is a whole body procedure including the sinus, chest, abdomen and limbs. It has a wide variety of applications including improved energy levels, digestion, circulation, breathing, clearer sinus drainage and post surgical recovery. This technique is offered by Jane Hird and Sasha Langman.
Emmett Muscle Management and Lymphatic Drainage are also very effective when used for wellness care with no major presenting symptoms. It is an enjoyable procedure to receive.
The trained Emmett therapists at the clinic are Jane Hird, Olu Jegede and Sasha Langman. They usually use this work in conjunction with their own other treatment modalities which can be seen on their individual therapist tabs on this website.
